Telling Someone Else’s Story – Panel Discussion

Learn all about the undertaking of capturing the essence of the another persons life, and the research that goes into creating a biography. Three fantastic authors will speak about their processes, discussing what it takes to tell someone else’s story. 

The panel discussion will take place on Saturday, February 8th at 3:40 PM in the Baptish Church Sanctuary. Moderator Leigh E. Rich will introduce the authors and prompt the 35-minute discussion, which will be followed by a 15-minute Q&A. After the panel, authors will go directly to the Author Signing Tent to sign Festival-purchased copies of their book.

About the Moderator

Leigh E. Rich

Leigh E. Rich

In the vein of Chekhov, Leigh E. Rich has followed two passions: medicine and literature. A professor of Health Administration, she has a Ph.D. in Health and Behavioral Sciences and an M.A. in Cultural/Medical Anthropology. She teaches courses in bioethics, law and policy, and social theory. Her research focuses on bioethics, the body, health-related law and policy, visual media, and gender. A longtime “culture critic,” she is an award-winning writer and the host of the radio program Listening to Literature. She has experience as a journalist for publications and beyond Colorado and has worked or studied in Australia, Denmark, Italy, Russia, and Switzerland.
