The 18th Annual Savannah Book Festival has ended, leaving behind a memorable weekend replete with inspiring conversations, captivating books, and the powerful energy of authors and readers coming together. Our city welcomed over 40 celebrated authors sharing their passions, insights, and journeys.
This year’s Festival was a testament to the power of storytelling and the magic of books. We added two new panel discussions for a total of four wide-ranging talks on writing, publishing, imagination, and research. Our Headliners Anna Quindlen, Sebastian Younger, and Ben Mezrich captivated audiences with their thought-provoking ideas, leaving attendees with new perspectives on fiction, nonfiction, and the human experience.
This year, the phenomenal weather was one of the stars of the weekend. The warm temperatures and an abundance of sunshine helped to create the community atmosphere that makes Savannah so special. Whether you were in the book sales tent in Telfair Square or inside one of Festival Saturday’s seven charming venues, the sense of connection was palpable.
As we bid farewell to the 2025 Festival, we thank the sponsors, authors, volunteers, and attendees who made this event a delightful success. We can’t wait to see what the 19th Annual Savannah Book Festival has in store!
Until then, keep reading, exploring, and celebrating the power of books!
